The successful candidate for this position will manage and continuously improve Sigfusson Northern’s industry leading HSE Program, forming a positive and proactive safety culture. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director, HSE will oversee the safety program for all divisions within the organization and ensure companywide compliance with HSE legislation. The Director, HSE will make sure proper systems are in place to manage the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Sigfusson Northern’s HSE policies, programs, procedures, and training across all company locations and work sites. This position will require regular on-site presence amongst various project sites, throughout Manitoba and Ontario.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will take on diverse assignments based on the specific needs of each project. In this role, the Project Coordinator will support Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and Foremen by providing both administrative and technical assistance. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with all levels of the project design and construction teams, providing a well-rounded learning experience in project administration and technical support. The role includes a balance of field and office-based work, with potential remote assignments where camp accommodations will be provided.  

Reporting to the Project Manager, Heavy Civil, the Project Coordinator, Heavy Civil will provide project administration support to the Project Manager, Superintendents, Engineers, and Foremen. The Project Coordinator, Heavy Civil will assist with tasks such as preparing change orders, RFIs, daily reports, and project schedules, while helping to monitor costs, production, and invoicing.  This is a remote, rotational-based position where camp accommodations will be provided.
