Ceo Announcement
Sigfusson Northern is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Sharp as Chief Executive Officer.
Justin brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across infrastructure, environmental services, and project-based industries. Most recently, he served as President, Infrastructure at YORK1, where he led a group of operating companies delivering civil, site services, and related infrastructure work across Canada.
Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of QM Environmental, where he led the organization through a successful operational and financial transformation. Earlier in his career, Justin spent nearly two decades with AtkinsRéalis (formerly SNC-Lavalin), holding senior leadership roles across Canada and international markets.
As CEO, Justin will lead Sigfusson Northern’s strategic direction and operations, working closely with the Board of Directors and leadership team to support continued growth across its heavy civil, general contracting, and modular businesses. He will build on the company’s strong tradition of delivering meaningful results for clients, communities, employees, and partners, while continuing the evolution from a proud family business to an extended family with broad employee ownership.
“Justin brings a depth of experience in infrastructure and civil-related services, along with a proven ability to lead through complexity and change. His approach to driving value and his alignment with our core values make him an excellent fit to lead Sigfusson Northern forward.”
“I’m excited to join Sigfusson Northern and to contribute to a company with such a strong reputation and rich history. I look forward to building on that foundation alongside the team and continuing to deliver for our clients, partners, and communities.”
Justin holds a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree from St. Francis Xavier University.
